Et tu, Master? Empty Et tu, Master?

Geiji stood triumphantly proud atop one of the taller buildings here in this windless city. The neon lights seemed to fade in and out in a rhythmic fashion as the large individual gazed outwards into the sea of florescence. He had looked for quite some time for his matron and knew that he'd not find her in a country in which they didn't operate before. He was a worldly sort, understanding the importance of returning to your roots and there seemed to be no other place where that made sense other than here in Rose Garden. He could feel her presence here, but he wasn't exactly sure if he'd be able to locate her without much effort on his own behalf. It didn't seem to matter to him however. He'd find her or he'd find the guild ace since the two were rarely seen without being in the same area as one another. With his eyes closed momentarily he breathed deep before leaping off the top of the building, grabbing a hold of the rope he secured earlier and swinging himself over to the other, lower, rooftop. From there he broke himself into the inn and made his way down the staircase.

If the rumors were to be true then he'd know that she was somewhere held up here, which room he didn't know for certain. But he'd continue to knock upon many doors looking for her showcasing a masterful art of blending in. How so? It was due to the fact that he physically pulverized one of the workers who were lounging at the top floor break room. Stealing their clothing before dumping them out on the rooftop in a heap. He wasn't a violent man usually, but the importance of his mission led him to drastic measures. Disguised as an employee of the facility he was able to intrude upon others without much of an issue. Eventually he found himself upon a specific room in particular that showed much promise. To know if anyone was in it or not was not quite something he could assume, but what he did know for certain was that he wasn't too far off now. Knocking up the door he exclaimed that he was here for room service, even if the person inside didn't order any.

"Hello, it's Geiji, from room service. Did you order the red wine?" His voice was thick with his requiem accent and would denote his identity almost immediately to anyone who know of him or the race he hailed from. He wasn't sure if she was here for certain but it couldn't possibly hurt to try.

It had been several days since the vampiress had arrived to the world of Earthland Prime. It was, without a doubt, the first world and potentially the last depending on how things would play out. This time, she would play the hero. Much to her great relief, she had somehow managed to weave her way in, undetected by other Guardians of the Time Stream. So far she could only detect two, but more could lay hidden within the broadened horizons. For, as far as she knew, they could be occult within plain sight though their auras compressed to avoid detection. Rare they were, perhaps, but watchers of the time stream nonetheless. Now, the following days would depend on everything she knew in order to survive the world she now resided in.

Meanwhile, the vampiress would give an exasperated sigh as the hot water fell down in soft sheets upon her weary shoulders. Her hair damp, she would then massage the soap against her crimson hair, converting it into a pure white foam. The vampiress cracked a small smile as she savoured the much needed repose from her growing stress. After all, it was no surprise that a great amount of  work had been done in order to earn her keep for she had to stay below radar to avoid detection. Nevertheless, to her dismay as well as occult pride, her life had returned to the past. Elizabeth was once again the woman that lived off of the exploitations of the streets as well as a woman who worked her more prized profession  -a consman.

Elizabeth soon closed her eyes as the water continued to pour down upon her head, mixing in with the soap, while her hands would scrub herself clean. Oh, how the vampiress wished things could have been different. To live her life like she had lived it before. For, after having risen to power and enjoyed the life she had lived, Elizabeth was now forced to start from the bottom. Although, contrary to her thoughts, it wasn’t the extravagant life she had lived that the vampiress missed, but rather the mark she had made within the worlds she had travelled and the people she had met. Yet, now, her very existence was at stake. The General had risen from the dead and taken her life away. It was her turn to take it back and destroy his.

    ~Flashback~

Elizabeth…” There it was. The very name the vampiress had come to despise. Yet, coming from the lips from the man before her, she hated it all the more. ”Have you lost your touch? The vampiress could only glare as the General’s lips curled to that of a crazed smile, reminding the vampiress of the Cheshire cat. He would lean down to tenderly caress the woman’s cheek although his expression was like a lion waiting to gobble up its prey. ”Shall I reteach you?” The redhaired beauty could only hiss back in return, her fangs displayed in warning. Oh how she wished she could end him and, with his life, the taunting.

Yet, she knew that deep down, he would return and, in his case, more powerful than ever. For now, anger flared across the woman’s eyes ”Do not touch me.” Yet, despite her words being definitive and hostile, the General would only laugh. His laugh had started off as a chuckle, morphing to that of a hearty laugh of amusement. ”You forget, Elizabeth,” He would grin back at her. A true smile, if one could call it that. ”You life belongs to me.” The vampiress would scoff at his words. How did he believe he was?  ”I belong to no one.” It was the General’s turn to grin. ”Shall we make a wager then?” And, thus, the deal was set.

    ~End of Flashback~

Once finished, she leaned a bit to turn off the water yet a sudden sound caused her to jolt up. It was an unmistakable knocking upon the wooden door that had caught the vampiress’s attention. So much so that she stood still, paralyzed in a way that even her breath had hitched. She had not been expecting anyone. Now, reality had come into play. She was no longer the woman she had been before in terms of power and strength. From the minute she had stepped foot upon the first of worlds, she had returned to her weakened state. So, therefore, if the General had somehow managed to find her then she would die. That was for certain. It was either him finally ending her or she would end it if he took her for his own.

Rapidly grabbing a towel, the vampiress left the water in the shower running as she stepped out from the fogged room. The vampiress then crept slowly towards the door, peering out of the tiny doorhole that the hotel had, oh so graciously, installed. Staring intently at the man outside her room, Elizabeth was not at all sure what the man had said or who he was, but she could see that he was an employee. Not one she had previously met, but he did wear the uniform. Regardless, she knew all too well that not everything was as it seemed. Still, the man stood in wait to see if she would open the door, unbeknownst to him of whether or not someone was inside. He seemed harmless for now, so she would take the risk.

Elizabeth sighed yet again as she unlocked the door and unclasped the lock. Sure she was just wearing a towel and her hair was dripping wet, but, if all went well, it would simply take a few seconds. Sadly, the woman could not switch forms so she was stuck greeting the man as her vampiric self, red haired and pale skinned. She pressed her forehead against the coolness of the door for a few seconds before slowly turning the nod. All she had to do was tell the man he had the wrong room and that would be that. Yet, as soon as she creaked open the door, a sudden familiar and overwhelming scent swirled around her. Her eyes widened. She knew this man, there was no mistake. After all, this man was none other than ”Geiji!"
