Re: [G] Basic Site and RP Rules
Forum and Chatbox Rules:
Disobeying the rules listed below will result in a warning, and an eventual ban if sustained.
Disobeying the rules listed below will result in a warning, and an eventual ban if sustained.
Chatbox Rules:
- Harassment to other players in the form of verbal or textual abuse and or any other form of abuse will not be tolerated.
- Excessive trolling will not be tolerated. If told to stop, then you must stop.
- This is a mature site, so there may be some foul language, but abusing it and insulting other players is unacceptable.
- Attempting to exploit or abuse a system will not be tolerated.
- Staff also have to follow these rules. No exceptions.
Account/Alternate Account Rules:
- You may only have up to 3 alternate characters anytime you wish. This means you may have one main account and three alternate accounts. The only requirement is for you to be active on all of your accounts.
- You can not role-play more than one character on an account. You must create an alt account to play other characters.
- There are exceptions to this rule; you must contact an administrator to obtain additional accounts. If you are caught cheating the system or lying, you are subject to a ban.
- Your FC must be a fictional character. To register your Face Claim and or see which are not available, click here.
- If your character dies, you may NOT edit the profile itself, however you can create a new account and import all of your stuff. (Gold, EXP...) You may also import your items if it were to make sense on how you obtained the materials. (Finding the dead body, perhaps leaving it in a box...) However, if you wish to import all of your items, you will be required to submit your dead character to the Wall of the Fallen.
- If you create an alt, you must list it in the alternate character thread or it will be deleted.
Role-Playing Rules:
- As mentioned before, this is a mature site and so foul language in role-playing is mildly acceptable. Please also keep sexual actions to a minimum or do them in the designated sections.
- Godmodding will not be tolerated and may result in the deletion of post. If continued, you will be at risk of getting banned. We will still issue warnings before doing so. Godmodding is when a player controls the actions of another player and or a player performs actions that their character should not be capable of considering the situation.
- Metagaming will also not be tolerated unless the other person you are roleplaying with agrees to it.
- Plagiarizing from other players will not be tolerated. You must try to be original when creating your characters. Similarities are inevitable, but we will not accept something completely the same as another member unless they approve of it and contact the admin and or mod reviewing the app.
Canon/Non-Canon Rules:
- All users are allowed to freely play as who they like. HOWEVER, we do not allow any member to RP as canon characters. You are allowed to, though, use canon FC's.
_______________________________________________
Rules For Staff:
Admins and Moderators:
- Admins and moderators are not allowed to 'approve' their own applications, job requests, money transfers, etc. regardless of it being their main accounts or alternates.
- Admins and moderators will abide by all of the rules of the site or they run the risk of losing their position from the site. If the person continues to break the rules, a possible ban may be held in order.
- When an admin or moderator is grading an app, regardless of who you are, you CANNOT jump into it unless the person grading it has requested that you should look over it too. If you see that something should be changed in the app, PM the moderator or admin instead.
- Moderators are expected to grade at least one magic application, if there are any that have been completed in the WIP section, in a two week time period. If not, they will be subject to possible removal from staff.
- If you are missing for two weeks or more without giving prior notice, your position may be put up for grabs. if this happens, you will need to re-apply or cede it to somebody else.
Developers:
- If you are a developer, you are in charge of helping in developing systems, events, etc. as well as helping revise things so that the site runs smoothly.
- Developers will abide by all of the rules of the site or they run the risk of losing their position from the site. If the person continues to break the rules, a possible ban may be held in order.
- If you are missing for two weeks or more without giving prior notice, your position may be put up for grabs. if this happens, you will need to re-apply or cede it to somebody else.
Chatbox Moderators:
- A chatbox moderators's job is to keep the chatbox in check. They have the authority, along with the other admins and moderators, to kick members from the chatbox if and only if the the person is breaking one of the rules from the site.
- Ability to ban a member from chatbox if the member is continuing to break the rules of the site. Even then, the chatbox moderator must confirm the potential ban with an admin.
- Cannot approve anything in the site.
- If you are missing for two weeks or more without giving prior notice, your position may be put up for grabs. if this happens, you will need to re-apply or cede it to somebody else.
Extra Notes:
- If, in any way, you do not feel comfortable completing a task for whatever reason, please PM the founder and or the person in charge of the project. We will try our best to resolve any issues that occur.
- All staff will be required to work together in order to get things done. That is why you are staff, to work together and united to make sure things run smoothly. We are the foundation of the site and we should remain strong as one.
- If you have any questions about the task, please ask before starting it.
- We require that our staff should be kept up to date with the latest revisions and news so communication is highly advised!

Re: [G] Basic Site and RP Rules
Character Rules
Your character is the singular most important component that needs to be made if you wish to RP here. You can always RP without your superpowers, items/weapons, pets and the like. However you CANNOT RP without an approved character. Here are some rules and guideline for it.
- We don't want to see some straight up copying of characters of other people from any site. Say person A copies a character from Person B. That would be considered as plagiarizing. Your character can be heavily inspired other characters from other fandoms (DC, Marvels, any video games or anime) here, but please do not straight up copy their personality and history.
- We will need an exact age on how old your character is. Please take note of the plot, if your character is not human please know the maximum age your character can be is (years before second earth is created)
- As for your Alignment please refer to the Alignment Rules for more information. Also please do not simply just put good, evil or neutral. An exact alignment will be needed.
- Race perks are similar to passives. However there are a few rules to them. Perks cannot be combative, which means no stat boost, flight during battle and the like for those will require abilities to use. These are RP exclusive abilities. Examples would include the ability to fly outside of battle, transformation (example: if you are a neko you can transform into a cat or if you are a mermaid you can transform your legs into a tail)
- Explaining your likes, dislikes, fears and motivations are REQUIRED. We understand if you do not like explaning them however this is for other people to get a more deeper depth to who your character is.
- A person is allowed 4 characters, 1 main and 3 alts. Each character must be on a separate account. However a 5th and 6th alt can be achieved via admin's permission.
Roleplaying Rules
- To RP anywhere on the site (minus an OOC RP) you must have an approved character. Any RP posts that is posted by a person whom does not have a character and did not post in a OOC RP will be deleted and the poster warned
- No God-modding. Godmodding is basically when one character controls another character. This includes how somebody feels to any thoughts or actions they have or make. Unless you are the owner of a certain character, do not control them. This is strictly forbidden and there are no exceptions to this rule.
- No meta-gaming. Remember, any knowledge that you have in a topic is known through IC (in character) experiences. OOC (out of character) you may know lets say Bob but IC you don't know Bob. Mentioning Bob (unless he's widely known ie.being a guild master) in a topic would be considered metagaming.
- Auto-Hitting is can easily be one of the most broken rules. This way you're not technically controlling somebody but you are in a way. Auto-Hitting is when you automatically inflict damage on somebody. Say you're in a fight. Person A posts that he threw a punch that was so fast that you couldn't dodge it and it hit. This is auto-hitting. That's not very fair now is it?
- Thread order is very important here. Say you joined Thread A and soon Thread B. You cannot mention anything about Thread B in Thread A due to the fact Thread A took place before Thread B.
- Posting Order is similar to thread order. If Person A posted first then followed by Person B and Person C it goes in the order of A, B, C, not A, B, A, C, A etc. This makes the thread less confusing and easier to rp. Unless person B hasn't made a post in 48 hours or he/she had requested to skip them, you may not make a post.
- Unless this is an OOC post, don't post just one sentence. This will bring the thread nowhere. A minimum of 4 sentences, (it cannot be one worded sentences) is required. Any post that fails to do so will be deleted and its poster will be given a warning.
- Any mature topic that is very gory, gruesome, or violent mark the title with (Mature). Any Sexual Content doesn't apply for it is strictly forbidden. If you wish to do anything similar to that, do it through PMs. As stated before, this is a PG-13 site.
- Respect the labels. Unless the is marked open, what is stated fits your description (ie. Joining a thread labelled "Open to Fairy Tail" and you are a Fairy Tail member) or your username is in the description, do not join that thread. Especially if its marked private
- Fighting, Killing and Permanent Damage will always be an option in a thread for anyone in it unless it says so in the title of the topic. You can use Social, NK (for no killing), NPD (for No permanent damage) or any other phrase in the title. Please put it in brackets.
- RP posts here have a paragraph minimum requirement. How long is a paragraph? It would be around 5 to 6 sentences. Any posts that are few than the minimum will be deleted and the poster will receive a warning.
- THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE OF ALL: Have fun! IF YOU BREAK IT YOU WILL BE BANNED FOREVER!

Re: [G] Basic Site and RP Rules
Guide to GodModding and What Not to Do
In this thread, GMing = GodModding
In this thread, GMing = GodModding
The Time Factor
Basically you aren’t supposed to manipulate time or space. This is a given and everyone understands this.
"What if I have an ability that controls time?"
Well if the said site allows such an ability it’s probably got enough restrictions on it to make such an ability fair. You still however have to follow the flow of the fight even if it’s not in your favor or if it means losing. Also please note that here we will be allowing the use of timeline manipulation but only to a certain extent. Timeline manipulation is when say a character runs over and attacks you, and you perform a action that basically destroys half their post. The proper way of fighting is that player A attacks and player B dodges so please be mindful of that.
This means specifically if you make an attack or perform an action. You have to finish it. Even if it fails it has happened. You can’t just change your mind. It disrupts play.
"But they used an attack to defend against my attack. If I continue my attack I’ll be hit as well!"
True that. However if it makes logical sense you can still move through the attack and hit him afterwards. You may take damage but he will take the hit as well regardless. You can also make slight adjustments that don't change the overall and still dodge the attack. Or if the attack would be forced to be stopped if you dodged than you can dodge and not make the attack.
In the end if you feel like the need, get your admin or somebody to take care of the situation if something seems amiss or you feel your being cheated.
To point out that this is one of the most common ways to godmod (GM not to be confused with Guild Master) for rookies and anyone whose never been called out on godmodding before.
Autohitting
Another bad habit many rookie RPers have is auto-hitting. This is when you make an attack and it hits your opponent without a chance of dodging. Are there going to be times when your opponent just can’t dodge your attack. Yes. It happens. However let them get in trouble for dodging what should be undodgeable rather than forcing the autohit. The easiest way to do this is to just say things like. “Fred thrust his sword at Bob’s chest…” rather than “Fred thrust his sword into Bob’s chest…”
If somebody autohits however it’s an easy mistake to fix. As the other player what should you do. First even if the attack should hit you anyways you can get a free dodge. However make sure you actually point out how you dodged even if it seems impossible. It maintains the flow and when flow is disrupted it pisses people off and it just creates havoc. Or you could be fair and just take the hit anyway if you could not have dodged the hit. It’s entirely up to you.
However after you post at the bottom add a little OOC notice that this happened, quote it to let your RP partner know they did it, ask them not to do it again, and move on with life and the thread. It’s fast and simple. If he/she gets vindictive you have a quote to prove it happened and you’ll win any argument they throws out at you or at least should. Also if you free dodged let them know you are aware you did that and that you did it for this reason. It’s not a big deal.
Here we will give you some examples of autohitting and some on how you should fight:
- Fred punches Bob in the face (Not the right way!)
- Fred punches Bob in the face, throwing Bob several meters away in the air, and leaving him unconscious. (Not the right way!)
- Fred attempts to punch Bob in the face (Correct! From here, Bob can deflect the punch, receive it, evade it or whatever he wishes to do within reasons)
OOC vs. IC
Remember that you are not your character. Just because you know something doesn’t mean your character does. It also doesn’t mean your character can figure it out. If he/she can, great. But if you can somehow RP your way through it just for your own advantage or personal gain you’re just going to piss off everybody else and make the thread less enjoyable.
It is also avoid bringing personal vendetta’s and any personal disdain towards a person for whatever into an rp. You are not your character. Don’t get mixed up in the two. If your mad about something and feel you’ll do this, take a day or two off to cool down. This isn’t really considered GMing but it does make you look like a huge jerk and can make people like you less even if it was just a personal mistake.
A single note in this whole thread will be made for directing something and that’s that there’s a rumor going around about a potential spy in the alliance. For example, as a character "Oh I gotta find out who the spy is and make sure I prevent him from leaking vital information to the enemy!" As a player though I’m more or less uncaring about the whole situation and I’m not going to keep another player from letting their character take the course they want. I see good chances for plot development for the site and maybe my character so I have no problem with it.
Anime vs. Physics
This RP is based off of an anime/manga. Your punch can send people through walls and flying into the sky and into the next town. You can fight your way through broken legs and walk on them. However if your legs are broken. You’re not moving nearly as fast as you normally could. Even if you can’t feel the pain the effects remain. You just don’t notice them. It’s more of a hindrance to not feel pain than to feel pain actually. Your character is still a human by some level or meaning of the word. If there’s no possible way for you to do something, don’t do it. Yes it's an anime but no that doesn't mean you can do anything and everything.
Basically you can’t RP your way out of the following:
- Paralysis
- Getting your head chopped off.
- Multiple broken bones
- Severed limbs.
- Heart Extraction
- ~insert other serious/fatal injury~
If you do you’re doing it wrong.
Players vs. Rules
The site has the rules for a reason. But what if players don’t like the rules? That’s fine. As long as your RP partners agree to that set of rules you want to play by I don’t think anyone will complain if you play by them. Just don’t force players to play by your rules. The site rules are fair even if they're not perfect. No site rules are perfect. Don’t force people to play by your set of rules though and live with the site rules and don’t extend those rules set for one thread by mistake to another thread. It’s not a good idea.
Example: If the rules give a 24 hour posting limit but all players in the thread want to do a 48 hour posting limit for real life reasons or whatever. Do it. There will be little chance anyone will have a problem with it.
"Oh no I lost!" It is understandable that nobody wants to lose a fight. Who does? But make sure you understand this. If you’ve won every fight you’ve ever fought via rp and took maybe two hits in all those fights put together, you’ve either fought mostly people vastly below your characters level of power, or YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG. You’re going to get hit and you’re going to lose fights. It’s not a big deal. Especially here where staff won't let you die baring your character jumping into a lava pit.
Cooperation and Communication
Lastly you need to cooperate with your rp partners. If you don’t understand something ask and if you are asked answer truthfully. Make sure everyone’s on the same page to avoid mistakes.
The best way to do this without bogging and slowing things down is combat spoilers in an OOC section at the bottom of your post. Add every attack you do (magical and even non-magical attacks would be preferred) and post the spell you use here as well. This limits confusion and lets the opponent know that they have to figure out how to dodge this or not dodge this. It may seem a little tedious and it is a little but it makes a huge difference towards maintaining the flow as where some threads don’t have these and everything goes to hell because nobodies on the same page. If it’s not enough which sometimes it’s not, PMs and talking to each other helps to.
"Hey! My opponent is dodging all of my attacks They must be godmodding!" This statement is a maybe. First off, what were your attacks? Were they all point blank? Were they charging attacks at an dodge-able speed? Are they ten times stronger than you to begin with? The circumstance is something you need to understand. Just because they are dodging all your attacks doesn’t mean they're godmodding necessarily. They might be. But you might just be running around swinging a sword around like a flailing fish. Basically what I’m saying is, think before you call someone out. It might actually be your fault and not his.
In a sword fighting scenario: You’re of even power and your both using swords or some sort of weapon. By the end of the fight, both of you are probably injured. The story is also cooler if you both get injured. Plus if you take the risk of getting your arm chopped off and you still win the fight. Your character may be stuck without an arm for a while or forever but you look bad**s and gain RP skills.
In Conclusion
Staff will help you if you tell them whats going on. It's a small staff and they can't watch everything. If you feel like your opponent is godmodding bring it up with staff and let them figure it out. We have awesome staff members who probably don't look to kindly on GMing. They can't however get to everything unless you tell them it's going on.

Re: [G] Basic Site and RP Rules
Infraction System:
How does this system work?:
The warning system operates in tallies/points you earn for breaking site rules. Depending on how many you earn, you run potential risk of chatbox and even site wide bans. So how do you obtain tallies and how many? Points vary. Simple as that. The list below shows more in depth on how the system works and how many points you may earn for every rule you break.
- 1-25 points are given for minor offenses. An example could include ignoring the warnings of a moderator in the chatbox, advertising a single site many times, and the sort.
- 26-50 points are given for offenses that are more serious, but not incredibly serious. Examples could include: disrespecting a moderator/administrator, refusing to change something a moderator/administrator has asked you to change, etc.
- 51-100 points are given to members who have gone above and beyond what is deemed mild. These points are given to those who have cause severe offenses. Examples of this could include: complete disregard of what administrator/moderators are saying, complete godmod, etc.
If you get warnings, what happens next?:
Consequences upon reaching a certain number of points goes as follows.
- 50 Points - 1 Day Chatbox Ban
- 100 Points - A Week Long Chatbox Ban. Staff reaching 100 points will be removed from their position. Staff that have been stripped of their position may no longer apply to staff unless stated otherwise.
- 150 Points - 1 Day Site Ban with alternative character creation rights revoked
- 200 Points - A Week Site Ban with current Positions and future Position rights revoked.
1st Trial Will Start After Gaining 200 Points - 250 Points - 2 Week Site Ban along with a month long chatbox ban.
- 300 Points - 1 Month Site Ban with chatbox rights revoked.
Last Trial Will Commence After 300 Points - 350 Points - You are permanently banned from the site both account-wise and IP-wise. Your characters may also run risk for adoption.
The Courtroom and Trial:
Having now gone over what happens when you break the rules, we now will give a rundown of the 'courtroom system' and how it works. The court system is a trial in which the member who has recieved an 'x' amount of points will be allowed to give their side of the story. Once a member is being tried, they will be speaking towards a group of admins, mods, and developers who are chosen at random and have nothing to do with the issue being discussed as to not cause bias. The panel will be acting as jury. The member being tried may be able to call a staff member not in panel to act as their 'lawyer.' In some cases, although rare, the person may be able to ask for a regular member to speak in behalf of them. Depending on the outcome, the member being tried may have their points reduced. If not, the sentence the member has earned will be conducted. Also, keep in mind that trial will be done privately and at the discretion of the administrators, moderators, developers, and trial participants.
- 1st Trial: The first trial begins when a member has earned a total of 200 points. At 200 points, you will be called in for a trial (through PM and or Skype) in which, depending on your outcome, may reduce the number of points accumilated. A group of moderators and or administrators will be selected to act as jury at random. You will be allowed to choose to be defended by an administrator or moderator as your "lawyer" or you may choose to defend yourself. If you choose to be defended, only a moderator or admininistator is allowed to request to act on your behalf if and only if they have not been selected for jury. Keep in mind that if you choose to ignore the trial then you run risk of a full on ban.
- 2nd Trial: The 2nd trial is the last of your trials. This happens when you have accumilated a total of 300 points. You will be notified via PM and or Skype when trial is to begin. The 2nd trial will run as the first one did with the only difference being that the risk of banning is greater. Also, keep in mind that if you choose to ignore the trial then you run risk of full ban.
At the end of each trial session, a staff member not involved with the trial will summarize it and post at the end of trial thread.
Ending Words:
If you have any questions relating to this system, please contact an administrator and ask. If you feel you have been wrongly punished, please wait until trial starts to say it to be so. Also, keep in mind that points will not be removed or reduced until the trial period is over and the jury have voted in your favor. Furthermore, if a moderator or administrator is on trial, consequences may and will include the revoking of staff position.
