Gold magic is a submagic of earth and requip magics. This magic grants control over the element of gold specifically. However, as gold is in limited supply in the environment, this magic has a tiny peice of requip magic in it. The user of this magic can form and control gold, forming it into shapes such as spikes or weapons. The user of this magic can carry an almost limitless amount of gold around with them in a dimensional pocket. This dimensional pocket can only contain pure gold however, and cant create it by itself, meaning that the user of this magic can only use the gold in their immediate area and the gold stored in the dimensional pocket. Where do you get the gold then? As you do not make it on your own how do you get the gold?

Conductivity: The element of gold is an incredible conductor, meaning that electricity travels through it easily. This means that gold is good in combination with lightning magic.
Malleability/Weight: Gold is an extremely heavy material, and also very malleable. It is very easy to crush someone beneath a large anvil of gold, just as small balls of gold flung at high speeds can be devastating. Due to the malleability and weight of gold, small golden projectiles are incredibly powerful and painful. Note the damage you caused will not be increased simply because gold is heavy
Tricky: While the dimensional pocket to access the gold can only be opened right near the user, the gold can be placed pre-fight, allowing for traps to be laid, A gold make user can bury a  bar of gold, and then change that gold into spikes in the middle of the battle, for example. This is not a strength rather a mechanic of how your magic works. Also know you cannot have the requip aspect

Conductivity: One of gold makes greatest strengths is also it's greatest weakness. When facing a lightning magic user, the lightning easily travels through gold, meaning that if Ava is touching any of the gold affected she gets shocked. However, gold can be used as a lightning rod of sorts to disperse such lightning into the ground. Remember if you are holding the gold you get shocked
Low melting point: Gold has a low melting point, meaning that it is also weak to fire magic and is easily melted. Gold can still be manipulated in it's liquid form however. So if your magic comes into contact with fire it melts?
High Malleability: Pure gold is very malleable, bending easily, making anything made out of it weak to pysical attacks.
Limited Availability: Gold is only available in limited amounts i nthe environment, and there is only so much gold a person can get their hands on, preventing excessive amounts from being used. If gold is limited how do you use the magic other than making it yourself?
