Caravan Guard (B-Rank) Empty Caravan Guard (B-Rank)

Post by Eren Mon Apr 04, 2016 12:12 pm

    Name of Job: Caravan Guard
    Rank of Job: B
    Repeatable: Yes
    Guild: Light or Neutral
Description: A large trade caravan is going on another routine trip to their headquarters in Hargeon to deliver supplies, and they're looking for mages to guard them from assailants during it. There will be three carts filled with food, water and some other miscellaneous supplies, and a driver in front of each. You and up to two other mages will be seated on the first cart. The trip won't be long, as the company has recently installed brand new lacrima-powered motors onto the carts, making for a much faster trip of about an hour. There has been rumor spreading that a large, well-organised group of bandits known as the Vipers are coming after the caravan, so be careful, as they can be behind any corner.

    Enemies:
Random thug: D-Rank enemies. These petty criminals may attempt to rob the caravan, usually by jumping onto the carts from smaller vehicles. They're not that strong, and usually carry a knife as a weapon, though some may use other weapons. They usually come in groups of two, and may occasionally be encountered on your trip.

Viper thug: C-Rank enemies. A little stronger that your average thug, and better equipped, too. They commonly use small firearms like handguns, and a couple use heavy melee weapons like baseball bats. They're easily distinguished by the group's logo being printed on their clothes. They show up once during your trip in a group of four, along with a Viper leader.

Viper leader: B-Rank enemy. Know to use magic, these people are in charge of small groups of bandits and commonly perform strategized raids on trade caravans. Their magic differs vastly, but they most often use some sort of elemental magic. They wear two dark blue bands on their upper arms to show their position, along with the usual group logo on their clothes. One of them shows up along with four Viper thugs during your trip.
