A wolf amongst the rabbits {Pygmy only}

A mighty roar came from within the boy. The mightiest beast within the boy’s body bellowed with frightening might, ready to tear the world asunder. This terror was known by many names: the black void, the destroyer of worlds, the consumer of life. Ean just referred to it as his stomach.
 
Meandering along the beaten path he had come across after getting out of the woods, Ean’s steps were slow and deliberate; Methodical and cautious. It was as if he took a step in the wrong direction it would be costly. Every step was vital and had to have the most value, getting him closer to wherever this road was taking him. Ean was no longer hearing his demon army complaining for food within his head. Well they were but it was no longer coherent. Usually they would be screaming and complaining like children however now it was just a jumbled mess of moans of desperation. This jumbled mess came together into one big migraine inducing moan that bellowed in Ean’s mind.
 
With that headache inducing moan and a stomach that howled even louder, Ean pushed forward down the winding road. With, half-deadened eyes he looked over and saw a conglomerations of buildings and structures. These kinds of places had a name. What were these places called again?
 
A town. One of the demons in Ean’s mind broke the bellow and utters the single word. Yes, that’s what they were called. Town’s were places where people congregated into a single pack as a means of survival. These towns had food and water for everyone in the city and everyone in the city did day to day jobs in order to contribute to the group. This particular town was massive and had grand structures within that towered over a majority of the buildings there.  Ean’s only concern though was food. How did one go about obtaining food in a town? Did you just get food if you were a part of the town? If that was the case Ean would have to force his way to get the food and he probably didn’t have enough strength for that.
 
Ean started to head towards the town but it was futile and far too late. One step forward and he fell forward and collapsed on the ground, unconscious and unmoving. A few hundred years had taken a toll on the body of the beast, and a large amount of his magical power was gone. His life was in the hands of fate and if someone who wanted to help passed by.

Takashi trudged along the road, he was kicking a rock. This was the third job je failed to complete. Arya was going to scold him again. All he had to do was escort a man to the other side of town. That was it, and it was gonna pay 8,000 jewles.

But like the other jobs... Takashi fell asleep. He took a very long nap and overslept. Oh well... he'd just have to find a way to make it up. He seemed deep in thought as passed a body laying on the ground.

"Hmm maybe if I just... wait... huh?"

Takashi backtracked and stared at the young man before him. What an odd place to nap. He crouched and started poking the body. No response. The guy was out.

"Oh great... well I can't just leave him here..."

Takashi surveyed the area and realized that they weren't too far from the Guild. A few miles in fact. Takashi could easily carry the man there. Then a light bulb went off in his head. If he brought the man to the Guild as a good deed, Arya wouldn't yell at him for screwing up the job!

He then began to lift the body up, the guy barely weighed anything to Takashi but then again Takashi was stronger than most due to his magic training. He hoisted the man onto his shoulder and grinned. Finally he was doing something right and could get people off his back.

He started walking along the path grinning to himself. This day was turning out to be a good one. Takashi would take a nap later on to celebrate.

Takashi was so deep in his happy thoughts he didn't notice the sleeping cat in front of him, that's when Takashi stepped on the creature's tail. It screeched startling Takashi, the cat then leaped up and attacked Takashi's face scratching and clawing at it.

"Gaaaaaah!"

Takashi dropped the body and covered his face which stung from the attack. The body hit the ground and began to roll down a small hill. Takashi and the cat both stared as the man's body rolled right into the river.


"Oh.... Oh no...."

Being content with today's weather Maria finally had the idea to get a job going. The request was simple search for special stones all day down in the river. It wasn't all to hot and the sun was hidden behind clouds most of the time. This made it a lot more bearable. Swimming wasn't going to be a problem. The river wasn't too deep that she would drown in it easily. Today was going surely going to be a productive day.

X hours later

Except not... She couldn't find a single stone in the entire river. It was rather frustrating that she spend the entire day searching and got zero results. Surely she wasn't going to get payed and who knew what else. It wasn't like she could help it. She searched all around the place. Guess she better head back to the clients home to apologize. At least that was the plan when she started to crawl out of the river. Then something hit the girls head and she fell back into the river with the body of some guy. Why was a guy falling down in the river?

"Hey... What gives?" Maria said as she arrived back on the surface of the river. she did notice the guy hadn't swam back down. He would drown if nothing was done, and she wasn't about to let random strangers die if she could help it, even if what happened seemed rather foolish.

"Ugh... You can't believe this!" She said as she immediately made a 180° degree turn and swam down to the body of the boy again. Whatever happened, she could sort that out once he was safe. Maybe... take a small bite? Maybe once he was safe and up on the river again. it wasn't like he was going to suffer sever consequences from it. Just got to make sure the coast was clear. After some diving down she finally got the body and swam back to the surface. It didn't take her very long to get there. With a deep breath she finally reached it. Now to get that body out, she started to look for a good spot to lay him back on land.

OOC note: as stated earlier Ean will be unconscious through a huge majority of the thread or the entire thread which will end or he will wake up whenever his body gets to pygmy guild hall. Any post made by me will not have any impact on the direction on the thread so feel free to post ahead of me so I can find time to think of posts
