Axel comes from a race of human beings who stood in isolation, genetically altering and giving birth to what they thought would be perfect humans. Alongside using magical techniques, they thought that the magic would cancel out defects caused by such breeding. Yet, many people died and got sick. The civilization that lived in isolation collapsed one day, unaware that it was caused by the fact that every person in there had the same genes- save one. Axel, the boy who lived through a new, highly controversial genetic test stood alone in his life.

When Axel was searching for power, he came across a well that had a God of Dragons within it. This god was said to grant great power to those who deserve it. Axel walked in, hoping to have that power. He was accepted, approved by the god, only to have his body taken. After a fierce battle between Axel's soul and the god's spirit, Axel won his body back, with the caveat that the power stay within. As such, Axel now resides as a demigod, someone who merged with the Lord of Space.
Personality:
Axel can be described as a carefree individual, dedicated to living his life in pursuit of strength and friendship. As Cait Shelter is his only known family, he has become protective of the guild. He grew up inside the guild, not knowing either of his parents. Thus, most of his bonds and connections come straight from the guild. He is generally a nice person, accepting of anyone within the guild. At first glance, you can always see Axel smile. He is always friendly, and only goes beyond this friendliness when threatened, or his family (guild) threatened.

During battle, Axel is a fierce demon. He fights with distinction, yet he yearns for it. There is an adventurous side to him, one which comes out during times of great duress. He loves the thrill, yet fears its strength. His strength knows no bounds, especially with the control of gravity.  This is to protect his family, something he holds pride in. Axel does not want to see his family go down. He will sacrifice his life to make sure they stay up. Yet, he holds his life very dear, and seems to have inner demons regarding life and death, especially because of his harrowing thoughts regarding his parents, who he presumes died in front of him (due to some nightmares). He also is extremely competitive, taking every small challenge as something against him, even if it is directed at someone else. Every fight is a challenge as well, and Axel always wants to win.

Axel does not like to follow rules that much, however. The only time he would follow directions is if it has an external goal, like getting money, women, or fame. He is a sucker as a narcissist, and gobbles in every ounce of vanity. However, he never looks down on people, and is generally very encouraging.

When it comes to missions, Axel happily undertakes them. He views them as a competition, and tries to finish them as soon as possible. It is almost like a game to him. However, Axel does understand the importance of his missions as well as his strength for the guild. When it gets down to the grit, he changes into his battle self- and goes into battle with his serious self. He has a guild and a family to protect.

Likes:

• Travel: What is the most carefree thing in the world that anyone can do? Traveling, of course. Due to Axel's high rank, he is able to undertake more missions for his guild. This allows him to travel to places that would otherwise be unallowable. Axel loves the sight of the foreign and the new, and takes them in in stride. Traveling allows Axel to see and experience many new things, even if it means fighting for someone's life, whether it be his or someone elses'.
  
• Relaxing: Axel works, a lot. Being a high ranking member of his guild, he is constantly sent out on missions from the council. As such, when he gets home, he feels entitled to relaxing. It soothes his mind from all the trembles and tremors that he sees. Although he never mentions it, he is seeing truly disgusting things on his travels, especially in the more deadly missions.
  
• Fighting: Even with his personality, he holds within him a demon, someone who enjoys the thrill and adrenaline of battle. It may not be something he "likes", but it is something he desires. The beast within him is constantly hungry for such acts. As much as Axel holds down this inner being, he sometimes has to let loose, which he does in many rare events during battle.
  

Dislikes:

• Death: This one is simple- it is the cause for many of Axel's trouble's in life. His parents are (supposedly) dead, his friends died in front of him- many factors that lead up to a fear of it itself. However, Axel goes on more dangerous missions everyday, inching closer to death. This is the battle he faces, yet hates to address.
  
• Betrayal: This is also a simple dislike. Honesty is a huge thing for Axel, and he believes that those who are honest are not only more trustworthy, but easier to protect. Someone who lies is only out there for themselves, and Axel cannot understand the mindset of someone who is selfish.
  
• Cowardice: Axel has learned that in this world, there is no point in being afraid. Even with his issues with death, he still confronts them. He never thinks that anyone needs to act brave, but that people should confront the worst part of themselves to learn more about themselves. As such, he believes that those that are afraid of confrontation, and become cowards, are people who are weak.
  

Fears:

• Death: Much like in the dislike, death is also something he fears. Yet, Axel uses this fear to power him through his training and missions. The thought of death lingering around, ever so forceful, creates the passion that Axel has towards his guild. Yet, he knows that if he were to stare death in the face, his first thought would be to give in... and his second thought, to keep on living. Such a dichotomy.
  
• Losing of Self: Axel is afraid of losing his sense of self. Although he feels complete as a part of the guild, traveling allowed him to see that independence is almost just as important. As such, the fear that comes from not realizing your own ambitions have caused Axel to keep on moving forward at any costs.
  
• Killing a guild member: They are his family- being forced to abandon or kill his own fellow guild members is something he fears. Axel cannot stand having to kill someone who he considers his family, let alone the people who he taught and trained.
  

Motivations:

• His guild: Becoming the number one guild is something that any person within any guild wants to do. Axel takes it to the next level- he is constantly working, finding new ways to help his guild and guildmates, whether it be training, or doing missions. He is always ready to help his guild, and his guild master.
  
• To become strong: As cliche as this sounds, the main motivation for this is to find the truth behind the deaths of all of his loved ones'. Having their blood soaked into his skin and the ground has left a sour taste in the air for him. Ever since that day, Axel trained extremely hard to become as strong as he can be. He also would love the title of "wizard saint". It was something he dreamed about ever since he was much younger.
  
• To rid the world of chaos: Axel embodies the purpose of the guild with his whole heart. It is something he truly cares about, as he thinks that the chaos causes his fellow people, family, and friends to get hurt or killed.
