Appearance: Roland is a white-skinned man with black hair that hangs over his left eye. He stands at 6'0", sports a very much toned body and his eyes are bright red, his eyes seemingly glowing in an unearthly manner whenever he grows excited or when he's about to unleash his power. He's not too picky about what he wears but is mostly seen wearing some manner of short-sleeved coat or vest, always unbuttoned and rarely with an undershirt to cover himself. Besides that he's usually seen wearing slacks and heavy duty military boots.

Special Characteristics: Amalgamation: While he remains human in appearance it only gets him that far considering what he really is. While he was once human he's best described as an "Amalgamation" due to the many demons he's preyed upon and assimilated into his own body for the last 2 centuries. Due to him being the first case of this ever properly documented, there's simply no telling what he's capable of at this point. The most obvious trait of his being his abnormally long lifespan. Besides that, it remains to be seen just how many traits and abilities he's assimilated during the course of those 200 years. Worse yet, there's nothing to keep him from amassing even more.

Personality: Ruthless, prideful, ambitious, and possessed of a dark humor, Roland portrays himself as a mostly laid back sort of person though this seemingly only serves to mask just how far he's willing to go to get his way. Having survived in demon infested wastes for the last two centuries, he knows how to take care of himself and seldom makes an effort to care for anyone else. He's very much egotistical in the sense that he tends to prioritize his own survival and overall wellbeing over that of others. He often uses sardonic humor as a casual reminder of the cruel lengths to which he is willing to go. And the truth is that he would resort to just about anything assuming it would benefit him even slightly. In other words: this is a man willing to lie, cheat, harm and even kill provided that it would be profitable for him to do so. He's hardly one for subtlety and is surprisingly honest about his motives when it comes down to it. His motivation being absolute domination, he wants to stand at the very top of the world and savour the sensation of there being nothing above him, if even for a moment. This stems from his initial encounter and overcoming of death, the sensation it wrought upon him best described by himself as bliss. In his own words, he had never been as grateful to be alive as when he had to fight for it. Thus he seeks to take on the world and by overcoming it, take part in what he can only imagine as the most wonderful feeling in the world. You might say he's the biggest adrenaline junkie to ever walk the land.

Due to him having spent the last 2 centuries of his life trapped on his home continent, he's ill versed in the customs of the modern world. As such, he often comes off as ignorant or outright rude when he seemingly disregards what most would consider common courtesy. There's also quite the gap concerning history, leaving him ignorant towards the various historic happenings that occured in his absence and as such he naturally also remains ignorant concerning the current state of things. That's not to say he's dumb or unwilling to learn, he had no way of knowing these things is all. Truth be told, there are times when he considers himself beyond such topics, seeing as he doesn't consider himself human anyhow, deliberately detaching himself to try and excuse his ignorance to others.

As for battle he is downright ferocious, much like the abominations he's made a habit out of hunting down. Naturally, he has no master, and his self-taught style of fighting has been developed through combat experience alone, but his prowess in battle speaks for itself. For him, simply surviving equals a win. Thus there is no "wrong" way of winning and he will resort to just about anything to secure these wins. In his mind, an act such as killing an unarmed opponent is something to take pride in, seeing as it's a win just the same. To him, something like honour is but a hindrance to the truly powerful, and as such he pays it no mind. Likewise, anyone who insists on acting with honour are no better than "self righteous pricks" as far as he cares. While he carries himself without honour, he has his pride, and will brag openly when he considers it just to do so. Something which more often than not comes off to others as quite arrogant. His respect is reserved for those he considers powerful, and would rather lead himself than have someone he perceives as weak ordering him around, he might just hit said person for even suggesting it.

He's more than willing to work in groups seeing as he usually stands to gain something out of it. That and he realizes that sometimes, people can work together to achieve their goals. After all, what's the harm in accepting the help of someone if it only serves to easen the burden of the task at hand? As for helping others he's not exactly charitable and will expect some manner of payment for his assistance whether it be a total stranger or even an old friend. Those who dare to cross his path or worse yet, stab him in the back will be made an example off. Ironically, he's not above breaking his own word or even betray an ally provided he stood to gain more from doing so. He would only refrain from doing so in the case it involved someone truly beloved to him in which case their presence in his life would outweigh whatever material thing he'd stand to gain from betraying them. Considering his immense ego it would have to be quite the lady to distract him from himself. Speaking of the ladies, Roland is very much partial to the occasional casual flirt, but should one attempt to initiate a serious relationship with him they'll realise he usually only lets it go so far because he has next to no actual experience with such. It might take some work, but he's not a lost cause just yet assuming there's someone patient enough to even try.

Despite everything he doesn't consider himself "evil", and dismisses it as a mere label weak people choose to slap unto anything they don't approve of.

In the case of question, I would like to add here that Roland and I (Silver Wolf) have talked and come to a plot conclusion that revolves around the ??? country. No one will be allowed to pursue this country less they talk to me about it.
