Appearance: Gaia is a tall, dark skinned man with noble features such as an angular face with sharp, bright golden eyes and a devilish smile. He has a muscular body built from his experience at sea with a few scars running across it, and his scraggly, dark hair has become windswept over the years. In fact, a section of his hair has become white from stress. His clothing varies wildly, but they generally carry a theme of darks with red or white colors with badass designs, more often than not revealing part or most of his body. It gets hot where he works, after all!
Special Characteristics:  One of his most prominent features is his Holder weapon, which is a gauntlet that has fused into his arm, covering it in a black chitin-like substance that serves as armor, ending in a clawed hand. All along this arm are glowing orange streaks that brighten up during combat and can even burst into flames if overheated.

Personality: Gaia is a man who seeks freedom and prides himself on being able to gain whatever he sets his sights on, no matter what kind of wild antics he has to do in order to achieve this. He has a strong belief that the world is filled with scumbags, liars, and cheats, believing that there is always an ulterior motive to someone's actions, even those close to him, leaving him always on guard. His morality is less straightforward than most, as he cares little for whether his actions are good or bad, though he does have a few morals that he sticks to. For example, he hates the idea of killing for gain. Even if faced with an opponent determined to kill him, Gaia sticks to the belief that beating them to a pulp and allowing them to live with the weight of defeat is a better conclusion. It's this combination of freedom and morals that gives him an imposing personality that has drawn others to side with him, making him seem indomitable.

However, a terrible secret would be revealed if Gaia were to be discovered alone, should he be unable to compose himself. Despite all of his class and his stoic personality, there are plenty of flaws to him. He is notoriously stubborn, and believes that everything valuable in the world should belong to him, be it treasures or even countries. In fact, the entire reason he left on his journey was to acquire wealth and infamy, becoming someone who others could both look up to and despise. He's also very easy to goad into a fight, and is prone to destructive tendencies. Although he has a strong sense of mercy, often letting enemies or citizens escape from his raids and pillages simply because he knows the torment they might go through after death, and doesn't wish that fate upon anyone.
